One way we bring our message of alternative fuels and technologies to the public is through elementary school and high school visits. By visiting these schools, we hope to foster a learning environment that actively explores alternatives fuels and serves to inspire young minds in the fields of science, math and engineering.

An integral partner in this outreach is GMability, a General Motors initiative, which encourages students towards four principles: enlightenment, knowledge, attitudes and action. GMability offers educators and students a comprehensive program on the environment, energy and technology.

UWAFT is also please to announce a partnership with the Shad Valley program. Shad Valley combines entrepreneurship with science and technology in a unique summer program hosted at eleven university campuses across Canada.
